A: $100 
Q: What's the minimum amount needed to open a checking account? 
A: $300 for all accounts there is no minimum balance requirement for Senior Citizens. 
Q: Is my deposit account insured by the FDIC? 
A: Yes. The FDIC insures up to $250,000per ownership type. 
Q: What type of identification do I need to open an account? 
A: When you open an account, we will ask to see two forms of identification (one primary and one secondary) from each 
    accountholder. The types of identification that are accepted are: 
   Primary Identification  

  • Driver's license;
  • State identification card;
  • U. S. Passport;
  • U. S. Military ID;
  • Foreign passport with valid visa (non-resident alien); *Accepted for In-person accounts only.
  • Resident alien card ("green card") and foreign passport.
       Secondary Identification  

  • A recent utility bill (cellular phone bills are not accepted);
  • Copy of the customer's lease agreement;
  • Voter's registration card;
  • Library card;
  • Student ID card;
  • Employee card;
  • Current (within 30 days) pay stub - Must be issued by the employer identified on the account information sheet or loan application.
    Q: How can I find my checking or savings account routing number? 
    A: The routing number is the first nine digits on the lower left hand corner of your checks, and pre-printed deposit slips. 
    Q: I lost my ATM card. How do I get a new one? 
    A: Call us at 1-312-738-4956, 1-773-262-6400 or Toll Free 855-MakeitNRB so we can deactivate your ATM card as soon as you realize that it is missing. Once you have done this, you can obtain a new ATM card by visiting our office and we will replace it for a $5 fee.

    1. If you have set up the three challenge questions during your first login to Internet Banking. You will have to answer all three questions correctly and then follow the on screen directions.
